Inspired by nature and a desire to infuse her own home with beauty and peace, Rhymes creates landscape, abstract, and botanic collections alternating between (and often combining) acrylic, watercolor, pastel, charcoal, chalk, and ink.

Rhymes grew up in Mississippi and graduated from Vanderbilt before earning her masters in Cognitive Science from Columbia University. She enjoys bringing her study of the mind to her art, creating paintings that evoke serenity and peace in the homes of her collectors. Rhymes lives in Nashville with her husband and three children and works from her home studio.
